  • Object: Comet 17P/Holmes in the Perseus constellation. The picture was processed to show the green glow surrounding the coma. The star closest to the nucleus that shows through the coma is HD 23104.
  • Camera: modified EOS 350D (Baader IR cut filter)
  • Lens: Nikkor 300mm/f4
  • Aperture: f/5.6
  • Exposure: 40 x 1'
  • Exposure start: 2007/11/02 from 00:33 UTC to 01:30 UTC
  • Location: Paslières, Puy-de-Dôme, France
