16 June Movement

16 June Movement (in Turkish: 16 Haziran Hareketi) was a revolutionary group in Turkey. It was born out of a faction of the Fatherland Party (VP) in 1979, led by Sarp Kuray. Initially it published a magazine called Partizan Yolu. In 1988 it took the name '16 June Movement'. It started publishing Sosyalist Dergi.

In 1987 it joined the Revolutionary Unity, a front led by the PKK.

In 1990-1991 the group passed through severe internal strife.
