[edit] Your recent edit(s) to the article: Woodworking joints

You have recently vandalized a Wikipedia article, and you are now being asked to stop this type of behavior. You're welcome to continue editing Wikipedia, so long as these edits are constructive. Please see Wikipedia's Blocking policy and what constitutes vandalism; such actions are not tolerated on Wikipedia, and are not taken lightly.

We hope that you will become a legitimate editor. Again, you are welcome here at Wikipedia, but remember not to vandalize or you will soon be blocked from editing.

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the external links you added to the page Car tuning do not comply with our guidelines for external links. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Dirk Beetstra T C 22:32, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

This is your only warning. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Social entrepreneurship, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing their websites from appearing on Wikipedia and other sites that use the MediaWiki spam blacklist at all. --Dirk Beetstra T C 22:48, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

Hello. If you want to add someone to Category:South African guitarists, you need to do one of two things. Option 1: Find an existing article on that person and add [[Category:South African guitarists]] (better yet, "South African jazz guitarists", or "classical", or "rock", or whatever - if this creates a "red" category at the bottom, don't panic, give me a shout on my talk page and I'll take a look. Option 2 Get an account and write an article about that person - you have to log in to create new article/category pages - and then add your chosen category at the bottom. Again, give me a shout if you think I can help. The method you chose, adding a name to the category page directly, doesn't work in the same way. Best wishes, Bencherlite 23:51, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Redirect of Swamp of Sorrows

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Swamp of Sorrows, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Swamp of Sorrows is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Swamp of Sorrows, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. [edit] Tom Sotis

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Tom Sotis, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Tom Sotis. RogueNinjatalk 17:31, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Tom Sotis

An editor has nominated Tom Sotis, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tom Sotis and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 18:44, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
