Do not Delete this guy. He is a special talent in the Port Chester NY community. If one person deserves the credit it's Ed Eways. Really a strong role model and Public Figure in the community. I have read about him for years in the Westmore News. Edward Eways has shown that he has stay power in Port Chester NY. Eways has the abilty to inspire the youth and create big events. He is a strong public speaker and has the presence needed for the public eye. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.190.250.174 (talk) 02:59, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
Edward Eways is a very strong talent with a deterimination to change the world. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.100.150.165 (talk) 17:07, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
In 2007 Edward Eways received his second community service award. He is the only man to get two of these awards. I know that Ed Eways will be releasing another DVD to the community. Our group has been hearing that this will be Eways last project for Port Chester and Rye Brook. He has made statements that he will call it a career after 11 years doing these programs. He has been more focused on his faith with God and going more behind the scenes and promoting others to do good works. Ed Eways in my mind will always be a true Port Chester product that made a big mark in his community. Eways is a true Port Chester Classic Peter K PC NEWS. I never thought that Edward Eways was this huge talent like the local papers have stated for years. If you know anything about him. He has big connections in the media and goverment that give him the platform to do these things in his town. Yes he is talented but in my mind overrated because he is like a prodigel son that returned to his community to do good. So they market this idea of Eways in this manner.... Jess R. Community Wire..
I agree Ed Eways is a marketing tool for the schools and town. I do feel though that he is very talented and creative. His programs in the 90's were very strong. I liked the cancer event he did in 2006 in honor of his father as well. Ed Eways is a very interesting figure and I wonder what they will say about his methods and programs in the future,, Gal Sand- Resident Of Port Chester. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.103.93.62 (talk) 15:45, 29 May 2008 (UTC) Edward Eways might be notable in Westchester but that might not mean that he is notable here. I do think that if Edward Eways was added here, I would not debate it. He is gifted in the arts and has left a stamp on his hometown. There are people that try to copy his work but have been unsuccessful....PC RESIDENT... The Ed Eways debate is becoming a little too much at this point. Yes he is a known figure and role model in the community. His father was very well known and respected in Port Chester and Greenwich CT. The kid learned alot from the father. That is the secret to Ed Eways JR. He is notable but he had a great mentor in his father..PC Resident since 1984...JJ
I remember I use to think that Ed Eways was amazing. Like any talent there are flaws. His ego and flashy image took a liitle away from his projects. Like any young person that gains all this attention there are lessons. Eddie Eways did and still does great things. He is notable and needs to be on this list..Notable but not perfect... Who is perfect? Bottom line on Edward Eways, talented, strong presence, does alot of good in the town. Very well known and respected. Raised alot of money for huge causes. Inspires many young people. Ed Eways is a born leader like his father was. A credit to the community. If you took a poll in this community. 99 out of 100 would say Eways is notable. Change the policy and take the people that don't even live in our town off the list...Sometimes we need to be flexible and look at what's right. How can you have a notable list and not have Eddie Eways on it....PC Goverment associate..
We are deciding if we should bring the Eways debate to a close. This has been fun to profile one of the most dynamic people to ever come out of Port Chester. Ed Eways is special and will always be notable in our community. True leader!! He should be on list but I will inform the groups to end the Ed Eways debate for now...Debate ended

- Please don't come onto my talk page with a bunch of double talk, thank you. I have a more than sufficient grasp of the English language to recognize it when I see it. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 00:41, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
Thank you. I appreciate that. To address your concerns, first of all, the current text is a partial or total copyright violation. It's also written in a way that's completely incomprehensible to a general audience. On the other hand, if you can rewrite this in a manner which addresses both of those concerns and which has suitable third-party references, heck, I'm all for keeping it. Good luck. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 00:48, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Port Chester, New York, you will be blocked from editing. You and your associates have been amply advised of the reasons why Wikipedia should not be used to promote Mr. Eways. --Orlady (talk) 20:58, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 00:46, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, such as Talk:Edward eways, you will be blocked from editing. Talk pages should not be created for articles that do not exist. If you have an issue with Wikipedia policy, you are free to discuss it at the talk page regarding that policy. However, be aware that you will not get much support for your theory that a person who won two local community service awards is a notable subject for an article, particularly when the the information is unsourced. --Orlady (talk) 15:37, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

I strongly suggest you drop the Edward Eways campaign, he has already been thoroughly looked and is not notable within our policies and you are beginning to become disruptive. Since you've already had a final warning and been previously blocked, you can, and will, be blocked again from editing if this continues. --Rodhullandemu 02:40, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- Also further posts by you to User:Orlady's talk page will be construed as harrassment, again blockable. --Rodhullandemu 02:50, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Why was this blocked? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.93.81.1 (talk) 23:51, 3 June 2008 (UTC) We have ended the Ed Eways debate Rod.. I have informed the groups and thanked them for there time on this. Rod if you have seen the kind of things that Mr Eways has done in this town you would change the policy. We will gather more info on Edward Eways and present it here. Edward Eways will remain a positive figure in the history of are town. Rod I know this was a little much and there was alot of people on different computers making comments. Some groups gathered in libraries and other spots to have this debate with you and each other. We are bringing this to a close. Thank you once again for letting us chronicle the history of the community figure Eddie Eways....Dan G County Adviser —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.103.93.62 (talk) 11:45, 6 June 2008 (UTC) Also Rod no need to put a block on here anymore as we will not be making any more comments about Edward Eways on here in 2008.
