[edit] Archiving
Thank you for your help in archiving talk pages. However, some of the archives you created were not in the correct page. For example, Talk:167.206.128.33/Archive 1 should actually be in User talk:167.206.128.33/Archive 1. The page you created is an archive of the Talk page of the Article 167.206.128.33, which doesn't exist, of course. Please be more careful. Owen× ☎ 01:25, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for fixing it for me. (167.206.128.33 01:29, 12 August 2007 (UTC))
Please do not delete content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to User talk:209.177.21.6. Your edits do not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use Wikipedia:Sandbox for test edits. Thank you. Nposs 03:28, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.
Please stop. If you continue to move pages to bad titles or before discussions about the title have ended, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Brusegadi 20:28, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

The problem is that you are using redirects, and that is not good. I understand if you do not want to get an account (it would solve all these problems), but given that this IP has been compromised, most users looking for strange behavior will more likely look into the history of the IP and monitor you very closely. I am sorry that you had to deal with this, but please do try to understand that we are dealing with very persistent vandals. Ciao, Brusegadi 20:37, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Unblock
I am an innocent user who would like to create an account to on wikipedia so that I may be able to edit some information on a Wiki about my place of business. I work at Queensborough community College. I do a lot of my work on the internet there at my school during my breaks between classes and am not even able to create an account due to the block on the NYIT IP address. If it is possible for at least a temporary release that would be greatly appreciated.

Due to persistent vandalism (see edit log), editing by anonymous users from your school, library or institution's IP address may be currently disabled. You continue to have full access to read the encyclopedia. If you are logged in but still unable to edit, please follow these instructions. To prevent abuse, account creation via this IP address is probably also disabled.
If accounts need to be created at school for class projects, please have your teacher or network administrator contact us (with reference to this IP address) at unblock-en-l from an email address listed on your school's website. Alternatively, if you have no Internet access at home, you may email us using your school-issued email address, telling us your preferred username. An account will be created for you. Please check on this list that the username you choose has not already been taken.
Thank you. }

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
