Image:Info-pictogram.png Attention:

This is the User talk page for an unregistered user or a user that has not logged in. This IP address, 163.1.151.230, belongs to one of the University of Oxford Web Cache Servers and as such is shared by at least several thousand distinct users; irrelevant comments may be directed to other users of this IP. Please bear this in mind when considering blocking this IP and/or indiscriminate reversion of its contributions. All comments should be posted on this IP's talk page.

If you are the unregistered user concerned, note that this need not necessarily be the IP address of your machine. In many cases, it turns out to be the IP address of a proxy server that communicates between your browser and the Wikimedia servers. Such proxies are shared among a huge number of users compared to the number of persons using your particular machine. If you are frustrated by such irrelevant comments, consider that you could avoid them by creating an account for yourself.

  • Vandalism continues. When countering vandalism from this IP, one might equally "bare" (!) in mind that a block does not affect users' ability to read and use Wikipedia, only their ability to mar it. Whether the IP is located at noble Oxford University or Windsor Castle is irrelevant. Blocks are not permanent anyway. --Wetman 03:19, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
  • I hope by 'vandalism' you don't mean my contributions to the Pro-Test talk page. -Jim
I see. Someone's been a very naughty boy or girl. I should get my own account. Only (a) that's well nerdtastic and (b) I can't be bothered. -Jim
Oxford IP template corrected, you have to "bare" it no longer... --Alf melmac 14:46, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Tony Blair. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. -- Deskana (talk) 23:56, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to University of Oxford, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. [edit] May 2006

You have been temporarily blocked from editing for vandalism of Wikipedia. Please note that page blanking, addition of random text or spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, and repeated and blatant violation of WP:NPOV are considered vandalism. If you wish to make useful contributions, you may come back after the block expires. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 10:43, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
