163 St-Amsterdam Ave is a New York Subway station located in Washington Heights, one of the northermost neighborhoods in Manhattan.
The stop is at the intersection of Saint Nicholas Avenue and Amsterdam Avenue. The C train provides service at all times except from 11pm to 5:30am. During these hours the A stops here. 163 Street is the next-to-last stop on the C line. Despite having 163rd Street in the station name, surface portals are available only at 161st and 162nd streets. Only the southern end of the mezzanine is opened to the public.
