It contains 31 floors, and was completed in 1964. 1600 Pacific Tower currently stands as the 29th-tallest building in the city. The architect who designed the building was HKS, Inc.. 1600 Pacific Tower is currently undergoing a renovation project, with the goal of creating residential penthouses on the building's uppermost two floors. When the project is complete, 1600 Pacific Tower will stand as the tallest mixed use building in Dallas.
