Attention:

This IP address, 159.33.10.92, is registered to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, and may be shared by multiple users. If the organization uses proxy servers or firewalls, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

For this reason, a message intended for one person may be received by another and a block may be shared by many. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases, you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism; if so, please see here.

If you are autoblocked repeatedly, we encourage you to contact your Internet service provider or IT department and ask them to contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on their proxy servers so that our editing blocks will affect only the intended user. Alternatively, you can list the IP at Wikipedia:WikiProject on XFFs.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

Note: In the event of vandalism from this address, abuse reports may be sent to your network administrator for further investigation.

[edit] Your edit of Al Jazeera English

Hi, I've reverted your edit to the Al Jazeera English page for now, but if "V" really is correct, despite what the AJE Availability page says, please revert my reversion and provide a reference. Thank you. :)

[edit] your recent edits

Welcome

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions seem to be advertising or for promotional purposes. Wikipedia does not allow advertising in articles. For more information on this, see

If you still have questions, there is a new contributor's help page, or you can write {{helpme}} below this message along with a question and someone will be along to answer it shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

[edit] Serial Box

[edit] Serial Box

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Serial Box, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. [edit] Dear person or people at CBC,

While Wikipedia welcomes contributions from all users (Unless they've vandalized in the past), your recent edits to blank the page 11:11 do not appear to be helpful. If you have legitimate concerns with an article, we recommend you follow the proper processes, like talk pages and articles for deletion. However, deletion requires an account. If you continue removing all the content from pages, however, this will result in your account being blocked from editing. This may affect the entirety of the CBC. Basically, what I'm saying is "Blanking is bad, process is good, don't vandalize please." Logical2uReview me! 22:13, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

Warning

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly, as you are doing in 11:11 (numerology). If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. TheRingess (talk) 22:18, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked

You have been blocked for a period of 24 hours for continued vandalism. Signed, your friendly neighborhood MessedRocker. 22:26, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Molybdenum

If you want to add a comment to an article, please don't add it into the article itself, but the associated talk page, in this case Talk:Molybdenum. Thank you. andy 16:39, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Meditation

hi -- your addition to Meditation looks like original research. If not, that's great, but can you please provide a citation for it? Don't just re-add it. thanks. bikeable (talk) 18:53, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

Also, I did a search on the book you added as a reference. I can't find it in any of the usual places, by title or ISBN. IPSOS (talk) 19:03, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
It's here, at lulu.com, self-published. Certainly not a reliable source (and the fact that the title is grammatically iffy doesn't lend much credence). bikeable (talk) 19:09, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
Are you kidding me? You should read the book, it's the most advanced theoretical psychology, light years beyond the DSM.
Then I encourage you to find a real publisher, and when you do, we can cite it. bikeable (talk) 19:15, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
How does a person contribute to this wikipedia thing anyway? I don't have infinite time on my hands to keep replacing the stuff you are wrecking. What's the definition of "real publisher"?
Well, I am glad you're asking the right questions now. Wikipedia does not publish original research (no matter how excellent or cutting-edge; that's not the role of an encyclopedia). Everything must be backed up by reliable sources; check that page for details. Of course many pages are lacking in sources, but we are working to address that, and additions that seem like OR often get cut back. If you have a specific addition that you can cite, please add it. If you're not sure, post on the Talk page instead and get consensus, since any other editor can remove it at will. For a page like Meditation you would do best to stick to the scientific literature (for psychological aspects) or the religious literature for details of practice. best, bikeable (talk) 19:23, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, sorry I'm new to this whole contribution thing. I didn't even realize there was a talk page or that I was getting messages. I was just all confused about how something I thought I had added suddenly disappeared. I thought I could be of valuable service to contribute some tidbits of information here and there, but I guess not. Oh well, sorry for bothering you.
Well, sorry we had to keep removing it. Check out WP:WELCOME and WP:NOT, and then I hope you'll stick around and edit. best, bikeable (talk) 19:36, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Lloyd Robertson. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Thank you. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. [edit] Spam

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Nickelback. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Yamla 17:20, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] July 2007

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did to Bruce Cockburn, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- wrp103 (Bill Pringle) (Talk) 11:23, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] August 2007

Please stop. Wikipedia is not censored. Any further changes which have the effect of censoring an article, such as you did to Scott Oake, will be regarded as vandalism. If you continue in this manner, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Daven200520 (talkcontribs) 21:32, 20 August 2007.
