Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia! Your test worked, and thank you for reverting or removing it yourself. The best way to do tests in the future would be to use the sandbox. You can look at these pages as well: how to edit a page, the tutorial, and how to write a great article. All of these pages are good places to start. Again, thanks, and we hope that you will like Wikipedia. Feezo (Talk) 12:16, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Advertising
This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - Gobeirne 06:15, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- Could you be more specific about the reason for this warning? I edit from this IP (but also some other people) and I'm not aware of any kind of advertising (although I usually edit using my accout, but it might be that from time to time I forget to login and there are probably a few entries I've edited anonymously). --Kompik 07:13, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

- Well that weren't my edits. The guy seems to continue in it. But I can say I'm not sure it can be considered advertising. --Kompik 13:10, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- It's absolutely advertising - the guy isn't doing it out of the goodness of his heart, the pages he links to have a line or two of information, accompanied by a few hundred links. It's just a link spam ploy to get higher on the search-engine rankings. More info at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Spam - Gobeirne 20:29, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
