[edit] Warning
Both of your edits to Judas Priest and Megadeth had invalid reasons. I would change the Megadeth page but I cannot break 3RR. Do not make those edits again. There is an issue with standardizing genre delimiters which is not covered by the music template. I will have to report you if you do this again. Both Megadeth and JP had been reverted to there original forms for the genre format. I went through the history and found when the music infoboxes were originally added and they both used line breaks. If you want to discuss the break issue do so here: Template talk:Infobox Musical artist#Standardizing genre delimiters. Navnløs (talk) 23:00, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
- My edit had a valid edit summary and is supported by the template example. Just exactly who/where would you report this valid edit to??? 156.34.223.191 (talk) 23:14, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
I wouldn't worry too much about it. Administrators can smell trolling and who the "sand throwers" are. 156.34.223.191 (talk) 23:37, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
- Blocked again: [2]. I got a warning too. And keep an eye on this guy, [3]... He's been changing grammar on a few Zeppelin pages to the American style where commas go in the song titles e.g. "Black Dog," "Rock and Roll," etc.. Funeral 00:56, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
- The warning was just whitewash... closure.... whatever. Any admin who would block you for making an edit with a valid edit summary... as you did... wouldn't be a very good admin. Tiger Shark and The Undertow are decent enough at spotting trouble. Perhaps an email conversation to better convey your thoughts.... explain where consensus actually does exist... and show that, regardless of written rule... the example shown on the template page DOES show commas in use... that this is the example editors are meant to follow... and that it matches the consensus reached my the Music projects sister proj over at WP:ALBUM. It's all Wiki-politics.
I will keep on top of the other ENGVAR shader. I always do... Canadians, unless they're dumbing it down, use UK sp./gr. too. 156.34.223.191 (talk) 01:07, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
- Cheers. It's 1:20 a.m. here, so I'm logging off now, good night! Funeral 01:22, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Please stop
Stop your pushing your point of view in Template:Infobox Musical artist/doc. Consistency is not a good argument, and you know I have met your arguments several times. If you keep on changing articles to meet your pov (without proper discussion) then there's only 1 solution. I'll keep on discussing and reverting undiscussed and unfounded changes. [edit] Offensive
Please read my comments on the AC/DC talk page. I felt you spoke nastily about a fairly large demographic of Wikipedia community members. Don't. It isn't acceptable, it isn't smart and it certainly isn't a sign of wisdom to respect.
I will edit the page sometime when I have the books to hand to reference, after your little outburst I recommend you keep quiet on the matter. (The Elfoid (talk) 10:19, 22 November 2007 (UTC))
[edit] Armistice
Please take a look at Template_talk:Infobox_Musical_artist#Armistice, I thought you might be interested. Kameejl (Talk) 12:24, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
