[edit] Stalker
I've warned him. I need some lunch and a smoke. So I'll be back within 30 minutes hopefully ...if I don't die of cancer... :-D See you soon. ScarianCall me Pat 11:42, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- I do not want to do this on my lunch break -.- Check the bottom of my talk page (For some strange reason I'm not getting the orange message bar today) and see what one of your stalkers has said (Check his talk page too). I've messaged both of them asking them to stop. I'm reporting the first one to ANI. ScarianCall me Pat 11:59, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Not a stalker, but a wee bit upset
Hello. I thought I'd better send you a message here, since you decided to report me to an admin. I've replied already to him. I'm not stalking your changes, I'm just checking the pages I've recently edited, only to find that you're making what are, in my mind, unnecessary changes. On both the logo thread and the flag thread, it was decided that they are not against policy. You can keep them, you can remove them, like anything else. But I see your changes as not contributing to Wikipedia, but rather removing things that you don't like. Let's try doing what it says in the logo thread, and discuss the changes on the individual talk pages, instead of just going on an mass inquisition, deleting every logo and flag in sight. Cool? --Managerpants (talk) 12:09, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- I prefer to do what it says on the thread... and what at least a half dozen admins are doing... and delete the cruft. It's supposed to be a free encyclopedia built on free content. Free-use plain text will always win out over fair-use cruft. Try to think like it's an encyclopedia and not a junior high book report or some dumbass fansite. And you will improve. I have over 50000 edits here. I am never wrong. Well... maybe once back in 2004. 156.34.221.194 (talk) 12:14, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- I read the thread, and nowhere did I see "delete"... in fact, all but one user thought the logos were a good idea, and the other user was just a little squirrely over it. Am I missing something?
- In addition, I don't really appreciate the condescending tone, okay? I'm not some high schooler trying to make fan pages for his favorite bands. I may not have been around as long as you, but I've done a lot of editing in my time, and made plenty of positive contributions. And no offense intended, but it's easy to get to 50,000 edits when you're doing stuff like removing flags and logos from every page you see. I see that "I've been around longer, so I'm always right" attitude far too often, both online and offline, and I hate it. Show me positive contributions, not longevity.
- Happy editing! --Managerpants (talk) 12:56, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Can I eat my ham rolls now, please?
I've made a comment over at ANI about Odin (Which, by the way, Nav references on his user page... Coincidence?). I'm gonna eat my rolls and have a smoke now. You can't stop me this time!! :-D ScarianCall me Pat 12:12, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- Ooooo a Nav the Impaler sock... hmmmm. 156.34.221.194 (talk) 12:15, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- Odin also reported you to AIV and I then pointed out that it's not vandalism. See you! ScarianCall me Pat 12:49, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] You think -
- he's still socking the socks? ScarianCall me Pat 21:06, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
