You hadn't provided any evidence of sockpuppetry, nor had you addressed the editor you were accusing. Corvus cornixtalk 21:03, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
- He normally has a new 143.X IP everyday. Check out his re-directed userpage. He accidentally edited it as an anon and then re-directed it to hide his boo boo. Look at KOS's userpage edit history. check out the number of 142.X vandalism attacks. He is based in Newfoundland. An easy troll to push back under the bridge. 156.34.211.193 (talk) 21:09, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

- In that case, I apologize for my vandalism tag. However, explanations and Talk page edits are usually the best way to go before deleting somebody's Talk page and putting a sockpuppet tag on them. Corvus cornixtalk 21:14, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
- I had a very clear edit summary to express my concerns. Also note: User has now switched over to editing as an IP again. I have spoken with KOS about the potential for an range block but he worried about collateral damage. And compiling the edit history of an IP that changes daily is a royal pain in the a** :D. So I just keep tagging and making him run away. Some of his edits are valid. Some are more pain than good because his addition of decent content actually breaks standard formatting for many articles. And then there's the inevitable NPA vios that come from him. Which is what got him permanently shelved in the first place. 156.34.211.193 (talk) 21:18, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Genre delimiters
Why do you insist on opening up this can of worms again. We AGREED to not change genre delimiters anymore. Not to mention your edit summaries are not reason enough to change the genre delimiters and are NOT supported by Template:Infobox Musical artist. I am going to change them and I hope you will not start an edit war or try to block me when my reasoning is SOUND. Blizzard Beast $ODIN$ 21:51, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
- In fact Template:Infobox Musical artist has an infobox which has three genres in it using line breaks. Blizzard Beast $ODIN$ 21:53, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

- I do not want to war with you in the least. I realize you have a problem with me asking you to "back down" so to speak, but can you for once just leave this matter as it has been handled for quite a while now? As in leave the genre delimiters alone (as I do) and leave the matter in peace. Please? Blizzard Beast $ODIN$ 21:57, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

No productive solution ever came of any discussions other than the, more than reasonable, suggestion that if there were only 2 then a br was fine but if there were 3 or more then a comma was good. It was a solution that could satisfy both ranks equally and made plenty of sense. It was a forgotten suggestion until lo and behold I saw two editors, who had never been a part of the original discussion talking about the exact same topic and solution. It makes sense. It keeps everyone happy (unless they are whiny babies) And it lays a mature compromise down that everyone can follow and Wiki can finally move on. Grow up and start working towards the positive. If you want to be blocked that can probably happen of your own doing and not mine. Just get with the times and move on. 156.34.211.166 (talk) 21:59, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Blocked
Your IP address is one of three (156.34.142.110, 142.166.250.98, 156.34.211.193) that have recently being involved in an edit war with User:Navnløs regarding formatting in music articles. Because all three of these IP address come from the same location (St. John, New Brunswick) and because at least one of them has had contact with other edits involved in this long-running dispute - I believe that all of the IPs are being used by a single individual or by a number of individuals engaged in coordinated edit warring. I have therefore blocked all three IPs for 24 hours. You can find more information here. If you feel that this block is unwarranted, you may appeal it by following the process outlined here.
