[edit] Infobox Broadcast
Hey, just wanted to let you know I fixed up {{Infobox Broadcast}} so the {{{digital}}} parameter was optional. You kind of had the right idea by placing a | (pipe) after the variable name, but this of course didn't hide the "digital" text link (and you can't use the pipe to do that either). I ended up using {{qif}} (see also Wikipedia:Qif conditionals) to do this. Anyways, hope this helps. =) —Locke Cole • t • c 00:13, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
- I reverted your change to {{{other_chs}}}; many other pages may use the old name, so changing it would break those pages. —Locke Cole • t • c 00:39, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] TV Network list
Thanks for your recent additions to the List of United States over-the-air television networks. Your changes were most welcome, and definitely needed. Thanks again, --Firsfron of Ronchester 22:48, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Television Network Programming Schedules
Looking back at the old edits of the big networks, I was trying to find who added the "Programming" section with the time per week of national programming. I want to thank you for adding the heading "Programming" to the "Big Four" networks, making the programming and schedule sections more valid and providing much more information. On another note, you seem to be making a lot of edits to Wikipedia; ever considered registering as a user? It's a better way to recognize you rather than the IP address, since you can edit form anywhere under the same name. bmitchelf•T•F 23:06, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] re: Newscast Schedule and Personalities Removal from Station Articles
True this isn't a TV listing or a station website, but duly noted newscast schedules and personalities listings should be listed in television station articles and there are other people who visit this site, who think that showing newscast information and a list of station personalities gives people a sense of what the station is. —Locke Cole • t • c 15:53, 26 January 2007 (UTC) Was not logged in as Locke Cole; see 156.110.24.142 (talk · contribs)
- No, there's a consensus against such information. Please see Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Television Stations for more. Even more importantly, WP:NOT is explicit about this. 1.7.3: Wikipedia is not a TV guide: "For example, an article on a radio station generally should not list upcoming events, current promotions, phone numbers, schedules, programme lists, etc., although mention of major events or promotions may be acceptable." Seriously, if someone wants the programming schedule they can go to the provided URL. --Fang Aili talk 00:02, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for experimenting with the page XHDTV-TV on Wikipedia. Your recent edit appears to have added incorrect information, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thank you. XHDTV retained its "channel 13" identity even after it dropped the UPN branding; even to this day it goes by "MyTV 13" and not, say, "MyTV 49". As far as I know it has never actually branded itself with its over-the-air channel number (49). WCQuidditch ☎ ✎ 22:02, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
