The 153rd Military Police Company (Combat Support) is a unit of the Delaware Army National Guard. The 153rd MP Company was formed in 1996 in Delaware City, Delaware. Since 1996 the unit has been deployed twice in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The 153rd MP CO support OIF 1 in 2002-2003. The MP company was the Third Army in Saudi Arabia, in a small base called Eskan Village. On April 14, 2007 the unit was then activated for the second time. The 153rd MP CO was attached to the 89th MP Brigade under the 1st Cavalry Division, 3rd Army Corps in Baghdad Iraq. In October of 2007 the 89th MP Brigade was replaced by the 18th MP Brigade.
