[edit] My disambiguation at Nambiar
To make myself clearer: I have adopted English and several other disambiguation pages, and I am responsible for keeping them clear of incoming links. (This is because links that go to disambiguation pages are not useful for readers and should be avoided as far as possible.) I don't know why you removed my disambiguation of the link to English on the Nambiar page, but please do not do it again, as that serves to make the encyclopedia less useful for readers. Thanks. --Tkynerd 00:30, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] tjs-labs.com
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did with links to tjs-labs.com (*|search current). Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. Since Wikipedia uses Nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Re your recent edits to James Macpherson: Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Ben MacDui (Talk) 18:10, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Message left on my talk page
Continue sending messages like that, this IP will find itself blocked. Please read our policy of no personal attacks and our notability guidelines for musical groups. It is not up to me to know about obscure bands, it is up to the author of the article to assert the notability of the subject when writing the article, and to back up what they say with reliable sources. Deleting articles that do not meet our guidelines is not 'pretty stupid', and saying that it is is so ridiculous, I am not even going to bother with counter-arguments. As for me 'minding my own damned business', please read this policy. J Milburn (talk) 14:50, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] January 2008
Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to College Station, Texas. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Collectonian (talk) 19:42, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
