[edit] Revision history of Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/IRC/Proposed decision

To Whom It May Concern

  1. I didn't see the reversion on the first edit before i made the second, and
  2. What's the problem with those edits?

You're not entitled to edit there. Avruchtalk 02:01, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
"It isn't necessary to fill in a form in triplicate just to fix a [consistancy] error." - 152.91.9.144 (talk) 02:08, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

I do. Its consistently enforced. Note the spelling. Avruchtalk 02:10, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

He is quoting a reply I made in response to a query about some formatting edits I made to the proposed decision [1]. I think removing proposals is taking it a bit far--even a clerk would hesitate to do so without asking first. --Tony Sidaway 02:21, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
Ah. I vaguely remember that. I don't know what the error was (haven't looked it up) but if it were me I wouldn't have changed it. Simpler and less controversial to just point it out to a clerk, especially if you are a party. Avruchtalk 02:23, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

I've notified a couple of other people (excepting those who know better) and you did ask on your talk page, after all. As far as I can tell from the history of that page, all other edits by non-Arbs or Clerks have been reverted. I wasn't making fun of your spelling, just correcting it. I figured you'd want to know, since you were consistently making the same error. Avruchtalk 02:21, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
