From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 152nd Battalion, CEF was a unit in the Canadian Expeditionary Force during the First World War. Based in Weyburn, Saskatchewan, the unit began recruiting in late 1915 in that city and Estevan, Saskatchewan. After sailing to England in October 1916, the battalion was absorbed into the 15th and 28th Reserve Battalions on October 21, 1916. The 152nd Battalion, CEF had one officer commanding: Lieutenant-Colonel S. B. Nelles.

After the war, the battalion was disbanded, but The South Saskatchewan Regiment[1] perpetuated its traditions and battle honours.
