Welcome

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

You are welcome to continue editing articles without logging in, but you may wish to create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits. For one thing, if you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on your talk page. Again, welcome! [edit] Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button Image:Signature_icon.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 14:57, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] You're with me, leather

You mentioned that you wanted this merged in the Chris Berman talk page. The page is up for deletion (although is likely to be kept) so you may want to weight in with your views. Nil Einne (talk) 11:49, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Taft family

The article is full of spammy unsourced claims like The Taft family remains Cincinnati's leading family.[attribution needed] They have built an Ohio dynasty, which nominally is comparable to the Adams, Bush, and Kennedy political families.[attribution needed]

The table is is also just a genealogy dump, full of people who do not meet the notability guidelines having a famous name does not make you notable per se. In view of your interest, I'll give you a bit of time to source the claims made before I delete again, the bloated table needs to go anyway. Jimfbleak (talk) 06:32, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

If you made an edit that removed a large amount of content, try doing smaller edits instead. Thanks! // VoABot II (talk) 21:48, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] May 2008

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Siberian Tiger. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Bfigura (talk) 20:22, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Hi, the recent edit you made to Richard has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. —DerHexer (Talk) 17:48, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
