Welcome
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
Here are some other hints and tips:
- I would recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
- When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.
If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my Talk page, or type {{helpme}} on this talk page and a user will help you as soon as possible. I will answer your questions as far as I can. Again, welcome, and I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. Mermaid from the Baltic Sea 14:21, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism, and if you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks. -- pgk(talk) 11:49, 22 January 2006 (UTC)

Please stop adding nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you were just trying to experiment, then use the sandbox instead. Thank you. --bitterMan.lha 17:54, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

In particular, please note that bulk conversion of spellings from the first major contributor's spelling as you did with Monosodium glutamate is a violation of Wikipedia's Manual of Style. --ElizabethFong 12:23, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Colin Murray, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --David.Mestel 15:20, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to the Mayonnaise page. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Rocket71048576∞Talk 15:08, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Edwin van der Sar. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you.--Ytny (talk) 16:13, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia articles, such as those you made to Stock market, even if your ultimate intention is to fix them. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. William Pietri 22:12, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Kieran Richardson, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you believe there has been a mistake and would like to report a false positive, please report it here and then remove this warning from your talk page. If your edit was not vandalism, please feel free to make your edit again after reporting it. The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Kieran Richardson was changed by 148.197.5.18 (c) (t) making a minor change with obscenities on 2007-11-20T14:39:51+00:00 . Thank you.
