[edit] Fair use for Guldengroschen

The image linked here, 1486 Tiroler Guldengroschen of Sigismund.jpg, is claimed to be used under fair use as:

  1. It is a coin design created more than 520 years ago and merely restruck, as numerous historic coin designs are.
  2. There are no copyrighted design elements on the coin that I am aware of. The coin illustrates various heraldic devices only.
  3. It is not an illustration from a catalogue or internet site, it is a coin in my personal collection photographed by myself.
  4. Image resolution is too low to be effectively used in commercial publications.
