Yes, I have read WP:USSH, specifically the part about linking, where it says that the parenthetical form shall be used where the context is clear. --NE2 01:02, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
- Your edit to West Virginia State Highways is unsupported by the editors involved in other City Specific pages for other states. Perhaps you should voice your unsupported opinion elsewhere. Seicer (talk) (contribs) 03:02, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

- Let's see how many minutes will elapse between your creating the (now red-linked) article and its getting thrown into WP:AfD. I'd most heartily suggest not having it stick out like a sore thumb with your proposed article title, then. The bulk of the people who participate in the AfD process are not self-professed roadgeeks, and there are many who would rather erase all the road articles except for the "most important" ones. 147.70.242.40 22:39, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] List of longest running U.S. cable television series
I think I'm about 36 hours away from turning User:B.Wind/TV list sandbox into List of longest running U.S. cable television series as I had a particularly fruitful editing session last night. Any feedback you have will be most appreciated (please feel free to edit - the list probably needs a fresh perspective from someone without dyslexia). If it all looks good to everybody, I'll trim the comments and move the rest on Tuesday (November 15) or Wednesday (November 16). B.Wind 11:34, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Karen Hayes (24 tv show) didn't resign her position as Secretary of Homeland
She is not the Secretary of Homeland Security! She is the National Security Advisor! So if next time you want to change something on the page, please confirm the info before doing so. Chris 04:02, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
...and this is why everything in Wikipedia needs to be cited - including items that are "shown" in aired network promos.147.70.242.40 14:47, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
...The head of CTU doesn't answer to the National Security Advisor - he/she answers to the Secretary of Homeland Security (before Day 5, Secretary of Defense). If your assertion were true, Karen would not have been in a position to fire Bill Buchanan. 147.70.242.40 01:29, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] March 2008
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Interstate 75. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Using a different IP to do your reverts does not put you above the 3RR rule -- KelleyCook (talk) 21:35, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
- Ms. Cook, I use only this one as all of the Miami-Dade College IPs are fixed connections. I also propose by your edit comments that you have not only violated 3RR but are also refusing to A) assume good faith; B) even consider dispute resolution yourself (by blowing off a reasonable compromise by Polaron); C) attempting to intimidate me by the above post (note that I am not the only person on any of the eight Miami Dade College's campus who can edit Wikipedia - MDC has a student body of 165,000 according to an announcement by the MDC president yesterday); D) responded to a post by another MDC editor with both a racist comment as well as a declaration of your unwillingness to follow Wikipedia protocols including a declaration that you would assume bad faith; E) claimed a consensus where there never was one (see the article's talk page). If your sincerity were genuine, you would have already helped Polaron in settling the dispute (instead of shooting him down) and possibly have even improved the article by providing long-needed references. But no, you'd rather attack someone who disagrees with you. Very interesting indeed. Oh, by the way, removing valid cited references can (and often does) fall under WP:VANDAL - and the above tag that you posted as a threat is just as valid for you as you deem it for me. 147.70.242.40 (talk) 22:11, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
