Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.
Currently, you are editing anonymously. You can continue to do so. You are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and write articles, but doing so will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 145.246.240.14). There are many benefits for logging in to Wikipedia.
Please note these points:
- Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
- Please use a neutral point of view to edit the article; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do that.
- Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted texts, advertisement messages, and texts that are not related to that article. Both adding such unreasonable information and editing articles maliciously are considered vandalism. A user who repeatedly vandalises articles will be blocked from editing.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, ask me on my Talk page – I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia.

[edit] Anthony Burgess
Hi ... I see you are doing a lot of work on the Burgess article. Could you write put descriptive edit summaries for each change, to make it easier for others to understand what is going on. Thanks. — Stumps 19:29, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. --Rory096 05:05, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
Hi, as Stumps requested nearly a year ago, could you please make use of the edit summary box when you make contributions. Cheers, John Vandenberg 22:23, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] 19 January 2007
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to The Kingdom of the Wicked, are considered vandalism and immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. Planetary Chaos Talk to me 22:45, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Earthly Powers, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Planetary Chaos Talk to me 22:49, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Burgess
The use of fair use images in the fashion used previously does not comply with the relevant portions of wikipedia's policy structure. Please read our fair-use criteria and guide to non-free content. Also, referring to the edits as vandalism is patently false, but probably just a misunderstanding. I'd advise a glance at our page about assuming good faith. Thanks! -Mask? 23:18, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
The images were inconsistent with our image use policy. If other pages are as well, they should be dealt with in the same way. We are not allowed to use fair use images except when supported by commentary on that paticular one. Using them in a gallery falls into the 'decoration' category. -Mask? 22:59, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Removal of advert tags on The Banker
If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article The Banker, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with,
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors,
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
- and you must always:
- avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. If you feel the adverts tags are placed inappropriately, please discuss this on the article talk page, rather than unilaterally deleting them Saganaki- 00:13, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your edits to Northern Rock
I have removed the information you added, as I do not believe that it is appropriate, as and I quote "A high court injunction forced Alphaville to remove it". TubularWorld 17:59, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] April 2008
Hi, the recent edit you made to Neil Young has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks.
