145th Street is a local station on the IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of Broadway and 145th Street in the Harlem neighborhood of the borough of Manhattan, it is served by the 1 train at all times. The northbound and southbound platforms are offset, due to the merging of the northbound local track and the center express track just north of the station. The express track is currently unused in revenue service. Just south of the station lies the underground 137th Street Yard, which is clearly visible from passing trains.

This was formerly the northern terminal station of the original IRT subway, which operated from City Hall to 145th Street.
