[edit] The Velvet Underground

In the past few days, you have reverted several changes made to The Velvet Underground by Velvetron. You haven't left any edit summary, and your changes seem very minor (substituting en dashes for em dashes, for example).

Please do not make such minor changes to Wikipedia articles without a very good reason, and please leave an edit summary so that other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz (Talk | contribs) 17:46, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] [Events 7 Nov 07]

I do not understand why you are removing news items without leaving an edit summmary. At least one of the items you removed has to be considered relevant. I worked hard to add the links that i did and i feel that my editing makes the article better. Again, i did not change the article, only add links. I hate to judge but this very much seems like vandalism. WikiTony 16:32, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] March 2008

Hi, Please stop removing valuable information from Wikipedia. You have previously been warned about edit waring and you are in repeated violation of the three-revert rule. Also, it would be helpful to use an edit summary for edits other than fixing vandalism. Currently your talk page consists almost entirely of reverting my edits, which may be interpreted by an admin as serial vandalism. Saying " I don't like it is not reason enough to remove valuable edits. Regardless of your personal opinions, most information, including athletics is relevant to the international community (see: culture). Please stop your disruptive editing. If you need any more assistance regarding WP guidelines, please feel free to ask. Nice to see you have returned to university in Cork from Dublin. Cheers! WikiTony (talk) 17:55, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Are you really sending me warnings? HAHAHA Look at your contributions page! It is nothing but vandalizing and without warrant removing content mostly added by me. As I, and other editors have mentioned, you repeatedly violate the 3RR and rarely use an edit summary or try to achieve consensus on a talk page. Edit warring is very disruptive to our encyclopedia. Also, I don't like it is not justification enough to remove content. I am not the first user to tell you all of this. Again, your random deletion of encyclopedia content is unwarranted. Perhaps you could better serve Wikipedia by ADDing content once in a while instead of mindless deletion. Please stop this disruptive behavior. I hope everything is good in Cork.
