- Yeah, IPs are often shared by lots of people. If there was an IP ban, I think that articles could still be viewed, just not edited. Also, it doesn't last forever. But this IP banning discussion took place a while back, and there haven't been any more incidents. I don't think anything will come of it. It might be a good idea, if you're worried about being able to edit articles, to get a Wikipedia account set up. Its free, and it helps people to know that you're not the one doing all the vandalism. It might also let you continue editing articles if there were an IP ban (though I'm not at all sure about that). -Seth Mahoney 21:52, Jun 6, 2005 (UTC)

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to the Adam Savage page. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. --Drat (Talk) 13:30, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
