Attention:

This host, gate4-sandiego.nmci.navy.mil, is registered to Navy/Marine Corps Intranet (United States), and may be shared by multiple users. If the organization uses proxy servers or firewalls, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

For this reason, a message intended for one person may be received by another and a block may be shared by many. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases, you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism; if so, please see here.

If you are autoblocked repeatedly, we encourage you to contact your Internet service provider or IT department and ask them to contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on their proxy servers so that our editing blocks will affect only the intended user. Alternatively, you can list the IP at Wikipedia:WikiProject on XFFs.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

Note: In the event of vandalism from this address, abuse reports may be sent to your network administrator for further investigation.
IT staff who want to monitor vandalism from this IP address can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format.

Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to Security clearance. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Dreadstar 17:11, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Security clearance. Kerotan Leave Me a Message Have a nice day :) 17:13, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our policies concerning neutral point of view and biographies of living persons will not be tolerated. This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "Shared IP address. Second time with this nonsense. Kindly stop making stuff up."

Decline reason: "If you will check the user contributions for this ip, you will see that someone has been using this ip to vandalize Wikipedia. If you are not the vandal, you can still edit while logged in to a user account. If you are the vandal, please stop. I don't know much about the US Navy, but it is my impression that your commanding officer might be rather cranky to learn that you are vandalizing from a naval ip, and may even be able to identify which user has been doing so. — FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 19:42, 22 April 2008 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

Blocked
You have been blocked for vandalism for two more days. To contest this block, add the text {{unblock|your reason here}} on this page, replacing your reason here with an explanation of why you believe this block to be unjustified. You can also email the blocking administrator or any administrator from this list. Please be sure to include your username (if you have one) and IP address in your email.

If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia after the block has expired, you will be blocked for longer and longer periods of time.  Kukini háblame aquí 14:31, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Request reason: "Looks like some idiot has been up to shenanigans again. This IP address is shared by millions of people, so blocking it for one idiot isn't really a good idea, I think. It's the same as blocking the entire state of Washington because of a handful of morons. Anyway, I don't really expect to see this block lifted. You know, maybe you should just permanently block this IP address from editing. That would be less annoying than finding every other week that there's a block from some moron messing with something."

Decline reason: "Per FisherQueen's reasoning below. Also, you could go to WP:ACC and have an account made since the block of the IP address does not affect accounts. — Kwsn (Ni!) 16:16, 6 May 2008 (UTC)"

The state of Washington? We've blocked the country of Qatar more than once. If you're sharing an ip with vandals, and this causes you to get blocked, you could get a user account, which would solve your problem. However, since you make personal attacks yourself so frequently, your account would probably be blocked for your poor manners before long in any case. Wikipedia works by cooperation, and people who can't talk politely don't tend to last long, in general. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 15:29, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

No offense, but are you dense? When you say "I" make personal attacks, you do realize that you're talking to potentially millions of people and the "I" am not one of the idiots on this IP that do that sort of thing, right? What you should say is "some people who use this IP to edit make personal attacks." If Wiki blocks for poor manners, it's lucky for you they don't block for poor reasoning.

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Ham (disambiguation). When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Why did you erase Ham, son of Noah? If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
