You are welcome to continue editing articles without logging in, but you may wish to create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits. For one thing, if you edit without a username, your IP address (137.222.229.74) is used to identify you instead.
In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}}
before the question on your talk page. Again, welcome! -- LAX 14:55, 2 December 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for experimenting with the page Bryan Ferry more specifically here, and for reverting your edits. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. In the future, please do not experiment on article pages; instead, use the sandbox. Thank you. --Dr.K. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Shami Chakrabarti, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. [edit] Obamania
I've removed the speedy delete tag you placed on the above article because you provided an invalid rationale. The speedy deletion criteria are deliberately keep very narrow, and neologisms are not currently speedily deleted. You can pursue the WP:PROD or WP:AFD processes if you still feel the article should be deleted. Natalie (talk) 00:14, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] May 2008
Hi, the recent edit you made to Newsround has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
