[edit] RE: Uppingham School
Hi, I have received your message regarding materials in the article Uppingham School. I do not doubt whether the materials I've deleted is true or not - it is that the material is unverifiable. Please note that Wikipedia has a policy on No original research. As such, materials published should be verifiable. Unless the materials in question is published by a reputable third party source, it should not be published in Wikpedia. If you have any questions/comments, please let me know. Sincerely, --Hurricane111 19:55, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Uppingham School
SURELY SOMEONE WHO GOES TO UPPINGHAM IS A RELIABLE SOURCE???
- I am not saying that someone who goes to Uppingham is not a reliable source. The problem lies in the fact that such person is a primary source, not a secondary source. As per Wikipedia:No original research (Wikipedia's policy), primary source's material is not accepted - not that we don't trust it, but because Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and can only accept information that has been/can be verified by a third party. Hope this explain things. Happy editing! --Hurricane111 17:06, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
