[edit] privacy
If you want to ensure your privacy, you edit logged in. It's that's simple. This way no one will see your ip as explained at "Wikipedia:Why create an account?". I encourage, not vice versa, that you edit logged in. Take your ridiculous threats elsewhere. --Irpen 04:14, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sockpuppetry
One user editing from multiple accounts (including the IP ones) is called not "privacy consiousness" but Sockpuppetry. If you want to preserve your anonymity, you edit from single pseudymous account but if you want to be more sneaky with your edits and make working with your edits more difficult, you edit from multiple IP and this is exactly what you do. Moreover, I am in full right to post {{Sockpuppet|username}} on each and every such account. The connection is known not from personal communication but onwiki activity. So, take your threats elsewhere, log in and edit like everyone else rather than harass users with ridiculous threats. --Irpen 04:32, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
