[edit] Stop vandalising user pages
Please stop vandalising or blanking user pages which do not belong to you. Hall Monitor 22:43, 17 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] explanation
Yes, I did read the explanation. However, the {{AOL}} template is not just a notification for admins, but for the other AOL users. If you read the entire thing, you would see that. The IP address does not belong to you, it belongs to AOL. The namespace is anonymous, and it belongs to Wikipedia. Administrators can delete anonymous userpages on a provisional basis, so in essense, Wikipedia controls that namespace, not the anonymous user. If you wish to have a userpage, please consider creating an account. Until that time, we will continue to label AOL pages as such for the protection of the user and Wikipedia. Thank you. «»Who?¿?meta 00:26, 18 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Daily blank edits
Is there a reason that blank edits are made from the 134.250.x.x range here on a near daily basis? Hall Monitor 21:13, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
