[edit] Keep it general

Hi there, as a fellow editor, I thank you for also contributing to Wikipedia-Chem. One suggestion is that you aim for non-specialized references and topics. At this stage in its development, Wikipedia-Chem needs references to major reviews, monographs, etc.. Other references of interest include the original report ("discovery") of a given compound and its major applications. I mention these points because if we included every reference to, say ferrocene, the resulting article would be thousands of pages long and, thus, useless. So please help Wikipedia help its readers by using your obvious chemical knowledge to emphasize broad overviews. Happy editing.--Smokefoot 17:14, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
