Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 17:49, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

More to the point, adding the same sarcastic comment to every AfD you come across is disruptive. If you do not stop, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Powers T 19:17, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
It's not every AFD I come across, only the ones I'm interested in. And satire tends to be more effective than simply stating boring reasoning, as demonstrated by your hostile deletionist response.
The problem is, it's not equivalent to stating your reasoning. Sarcastically arguing that something is useful to a handful of people, and that Wikipedia is not paper does not address any of the concerns brought up. Furthermore, the tone is very hostile, and thus likely to cause the comment to be disregarded as being made in bad faith. --Haemo 22:12, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
First of all, I'm far from a deletionist. My main concern, in fact, is that you were doing more to harm the "keep faction" than help. Second of all, what you posted was not satire, but sarcasm, which is far less effective and far more annoying. Third of all, you give the impression of being a user interested only in making snarky comments on AfDs and not contributing to the encyclopedia; your further hostile responses here and on my talk page only add to that impression. Powers T 00:27, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
Adding your electron comment everywhere is a WP:POINT violation. Please stop. Prodego talk 17:10, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

In regard to you querie here, as far as I know, Doctor Who is broadcst in the US - see Doctor Who in America - but I am not sure what channel. In future, please do not use the talk page as a forum. Also, sign your posts with four tildes (~~~~). Thanks. StuartDD contributions 19:38, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Nlu (talk) 17:25, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Alexf42 17:26, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "I haven't vandalized any pages. The notability templates added to those articles are obviously invalid. Please check out those articles yourselves.--134.139.148.100 (talk) 20:05, 13 February 2008 (UTC)"

Decline reason: "I went through the articles and most of the notability tags were valid - none of the books you removed that tags from had any assertion of notability beyond the basic existence of the book. Simply being a book does not confer notability. I suggest that during the period of the block you review our guidelines on notability and our policy on verifiability. Your removal of those tags without discussion and after being warned to stop was clearly disruptive. The block is valid and stands. Please do not resume this tag removal once your block lifts. Thanks, Gwernol 20:56, 13 February 2008 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

Actually, I made no edits to articles since Nlu's message, but he still blocked me. And I only removed a notability template from one book. The rest were authors who wrote multiple best-selling books. How could they write best-selling books and yet not be notable? Azure Bonds is also a New York Times best-seller. I have reviewed Gavin Collins's edits, and they are all the same: inserting the same templates to all articles that fall under a certain category, such as Category:Dungeons & Dragons. Doesn't this violate WP:SPA? He has never actually contributed anything except these templates to articles. Furthermore, Gavin appears to be using an unauthorized bot to do this, and many templates he adds simply don't make sense, such as adding {{weasel}} templates to dozens of articles that clearly don't even have any "weasel words." I even removed an {{unreferenced}} template from an article about an author that had footnote references, but Nlu reverted it.--134.139.148.100 (talk) 00:56, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
I also oppose the PROD added to Bitter dino.--134.139.148.100 (talk) 00:59, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
Blocked
You have been blocked for disruptive behavior, to wit edit warring by repeatedly removing cleanup tags from articles without addressing the underlying issues, editing against an Arbitration Committee decision and restoring inadequate references to an article for 55 hours. To contest this block, add the text {{unblock}} on this page, along with an explanation of why you believe this block to be unjustified. You can also email the blocking administrator or any administrator from this list. Please be sure to include your username (if you have one) and IP address in your email.

Request reason: "Writing multiple novels read by hundreds of thousands of people demonstrates notability."

Decline reason: "This does not address the reason you were blocked, which is edit warring. — Yamla (talk) 20:19, 15 February 2008 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

So, you should also block Gavin Collins, Jack Merridew, and Nlu, then. They are also edit warring. Or maybe you only like blocking lowly IPs.--134.139.148.100 (talk) 20:28, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
