  • About article 'Segnomin'. Indeed it's non verified : one hit in Google. But it is actually perfectly verifiable for the element 74 in Mendeleiev classification is tungsten. Also the tone of the article is defnitely hilarious ! Very good laugh, but a non existent element retreating when exposed to of light leaves no doubt about this joke. Please sign comments. (Note further interference with nonsense notification can be considered as vandalism. Byr bye! Gtabary 19:45, 10 Jan 2005 (UTC)

[edit] 26 October

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Himachal Pradesh. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites that you are affiliated with, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. -- Lost(talk) 16:38, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

This is your last warning.

[edit] Nullity media impass

Hi Lunch, it seems we've reached an impass on editing the Media section on the nullity story. Feel free to drop me a line at ben.moore@bbc.co.uk if you want to discuss it. All the best Ben Moore —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 132.185.144.120 (talk) 15:39, 4 February 2007 (UTC).

Mr. Moore, I think the phrase "criticized as irresponsible journalism" is a fair summary of the responses to your article. I will continue to revert your removal of this phrase. I also suggest that you read the guidelines at WP:COI, and that you refrain from editing the James Anderson article in the future. Lunch 17:16, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

Having read the guidelines, I concede the point that I perhaps should not edit material relating to my work. I will not change the line again, but do say for the record that a regional, end item piece on a maths problem is hardly "irresponsible journalism"...Ben.

Thanks. For what it's worth, I don't think your piece was irresponsible, and I wasn't the one to originally write that phrase into the James Anderson article. Lunch 18:41, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Changes to the article about Kirsty McCabe

Hello - someone from this IP address removed some information from the article on Kirsty McCabe. If it was you, please discuss changes of this nature first before deleting content, as it could be seen as vandalism - particularly when the IP address is registered to the BBC and the article concerns a BBC presenter. Thanks, Bencherlite 22:31, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your edits to Bradford Grammar School

When changing the motto on this page, please also change the motto in the info box. It is no good having two different mottos on the same page for the same organisation. If you think the motto's translation should be changed, it should be discussed on the talk page. At present there are people changing it to and fro from 'do this' to 'this time'. Pleasse now refer to the talk page. MikeLeeds 07:50, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent contribution removed content from Peter Dobbie. [edit] Notability of Andrew Crawford

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Andrew Crawford, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Andrew Crawford seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Andrew Crawford, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. [edit] Yage Letters

In December someone using this IP added information regarding a band called The Yage Letters to the article on the book The Yage Letters. This was improper and the information was removed. Another anonymous IP user (presumably the same editor) attempted to reinstate the information. This is not how Wikipedia works. A separate article on the band has been created at The Yage Letters (band) and this is where the information should go, however be advised that there are no cited sources or assertions of notability, therefore the article is likely to be speedy deleted if such information is not added very soon. 23skidoo (talk) 00:11, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] February 2008

Please do not delete content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Badger, without explaining the reason for the removal in the edit summary. Unexplained removal of content does not appear constructive, and your edit has been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox for test edits. Thank you. Gwernol 14:31, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Sexy Beast do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: 'geocities\.com' (link(s): http://www.geocities.com/sbmoviemp3) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image or a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thorougly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creators copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! XLinkBot (talk) 15:58, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, please ignore this notice.

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in this edit to Sexy Beast. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Thanks. CWii(Talk|Contribs) 16:00, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
