[edit] Sockpuppet Alert: 130.156.29.61 = 130.156.29.134

I've got a new friend! Actually, my first one! The above IPs are apparently the same person, who used 130.156.29.61 yesterday and is using 130.156.29.134 today. (Note that only the last number differs between the two IPs. Wow! I've just stumbled on to the concept of Class C Addressing!) If you have no life like me and check this users contributions, and go to each article's history page, you will see that all this individual does is follow me around, and correct every mistake I make, sometimes only two minutes after I have made one. Neither he or anyone else has done anything more important to the continuing value of this web site in the past few days. His m.o. under both IPs is also identical; he never gives an explanation for his updates, not so much as an "m", because one would have to be as brain-dead as I am not to figure out why he's changing what I've written.

Note that while registered users can sign up to get alerts whenever certain articles are edited, an anonymous user may not. Unless, that is, the user has, in addition to the two above-cited anonymous accounts, a registered account he uses to get alerts. Yes, I'm obviously overthinking this, if in fact my tortured musings qualify in any remote way as "thinking". Inquiring minds might want to know. Me, I'd be happy just having one. 70.23.199.239 21:52, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

According to the WHOIS reports for 130.156.29.61 and 130.156.29.134, your friend is a student or emplyee of Bloomfield College. Not sure if that helps, but obviously it's the same person. AuburnPilottalk 23:11, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

User: 130.156.29.134 is on a roll! In four minutes, he repaired the last four articles I’d defaced with my pedantic sophistry.

Now, after AuburnPilot's detective work, I pose to anyone wasting their time reading this far the $64 question, which is all my paltry income potential allows me to afford. Is User: 13.15.29.13/User: 13.15.29.61 a student or employee at Bloomfield College, or am I simply a moron? I'm guessing employee. What college kid would waste his weekend reading my tripe and sitting at a computer terminal all day, correcting a lunatic's Wikipedia edits? On the other hand, there are thousands of dedicated academics who would gladly educate me. As a recovering alcoholic, I ought to lay off the booze! 70.23.199.239 01:00, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

I may be appropriate to "refactor" personal attacks by removing the offensive parts. But it isn't appropriate to re-write them. Please handle disputes more responsibly. -Will Beback · · 16:04, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

As you wish, Will. Futhermore, I will neither take the liberty of correcting your typo nor insult your command of the English language for making it as resident VDARE self-promoter Nicholas Stix would. 130.156.29.134 17:43, 11 April 2007 (UTC) (Glad I got the tildes working.)

[edit] July 2007

I suspect User: 209.212.24.145, an IP at the New Jersey State Public Library, of being yet another sockpuppet of User: 130.156.29.61, aka the Bloomfield College Sockpuppetmaster, and his many 130.156... aliases. 71.247.249.236 (talk) 05:29, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

How ya been, Nick? I see you got Verizon to change your IP address to get around your block, LOL! 130.156.31.250 (talk) 22:03, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
