The 12th Utah Senate District is located in Salt Lake and Tooele Counties, Utah, USA, and includes Utah House Districts 21, 22, 29, 32, 33, 38, 42 and 50. The current State Senator representing the 12th district is Brent H. Goodfellow. Goodfellow was appointed to the Utah Senate in 2005 to replace Ron Allen. Ron Allen was appointed to the Public Service Commission of Utah by Governor Jon M. Huntsman on March 18, 2005. In 2006 Goodfellow narrowly retained his seat beating Christy Achziger in the general election. Goodfellow is up for re-election in 2010.
