12 Days is a dramatic OEL manga by June Kim which details twelves days of the life of a woman dealing with grief over the loss of her lover. The manga has been published in the United States by Tokyopop. The graphic novel is a departure from the usual format of Tokyopop's global manga in that it is a stand alone volume and contains more mature subject matter, the loss of Jackie's lesbian lover and how she subsequently deals with that loss.

12 Days tells the story of twenty-nine year-old Jackie Yuan who is mourning the death of her former lover, Noah Yoon, by holding the most unusual ritual – consuming Noah’s ashes in the form of smoothies for twelve days with the hope that the pain will subside with her profound reaction to Noah’s death. While she and her partner-in-crime Nick spend the time in the closed space of her apartment, they slowly become consumed by Noah's tragedy.
Jackie lost Noah, the love of her life, first to marriage and then to a fatal accident. Distraught and unable to get Noah off her mind, she asks Nick, Noah's half-brother, to bring Noah's ashes to her. Over the next twelve days she intends to consume the ashes in smoothies, thus hoping to finally get over her former lover by the end of the ritual. As she discovers, though, memories don't fade so easily, especially for the woman she once cherished above all else but could not forgive for choosing a man over her.

Jackie Yuan
- A stubborn, intelligent, proud and strong woman,. Jackie is composed and cool in appearance, but she gets easily hurt and recovers slowly. Jackie loathes showing her weaknesses to other people, but oddly enough, she seems to feel comfortable enough around Nick to reveal her mind.
Nick Yoon
- Nick, who is Noah’s half-brother, becomes closer to Jackie after Noah’s death. He was the only one in his family who knew how Noah felt about Jackie. He is mature for his age, but eccentric enough to partake in Jackie’s extreme plan. Nick resents his conservative father’s authority, and always ends up having conflicts with him. He can come across as blunt, selfish and even rude, but inside he is caring and sweet.
Noah Yoon
- Jackie's former lover and Nick's half-sister. Although she appears to be strong, she is really extremely sweet and soft. Noah is a bit shy and naive for her age. On first impressions she might seem one-dimensional, but her personality runs between two extremes.
