[edit] Copyright violations

Hi there! I noticed that your recent edit to our article on Karl Lashley was taken directly from an online publication [1]. While we encourage edits from newcomers, Wikipedia does not accept the addition of copyrighted material unless its original author has released it under a license compatible with Wikipedia's (e.g. the GFDL). Unfortunately, the publication in question specifically prohibits its copying [2], meaning that contributing it to Wikipedia would constitute a copyright violation. I've reverted your addition for now, but please be sure not to add text taken from other sources in the future unless you are positive that it is in compliance with the Wikipedia license. Thanks! --David Iberri (talk) 02:54, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
