- Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism and immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. Maustrauser 10:09, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] March 2007
Please stop. If you continue to vandalise Wikipedia, as you did to Phenylalanine, you will be blocked from editing. Burzmali 02:19, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, please ignore this warning

[edit] Unblock request
This 6 month block and protection of the user talk page is wholly inappropriate. The block duration should be reduced, as this is a shared IP address used presumably by several users, some of which have produced constructive edits.
- Can you please login to edit then, it's becoming a bit of a problem at this end... -- Tawker 06:29, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
- That misses the point; I'm not asking the block be lifted completely, I'm asking for a reduction (there's no template for that). A 6 month block for a shared IP due to vandalism isn't appropriate. Either you punish everyone using a shared IP or you be vigilant and block for shorter periods (24hrs per vandalism action should suffice!). It is up to the administrators to be vigilant, but most importantly fair, and not simply revoke edit privileges for all users who happen to be using a shared IP because of the actions of a few. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Moo2 (talk • contribs) 06:33, 2 April 2007 (UTC).
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
