[edit] Mole

Please - you are not being helpful. The non-tidal river has 45 locks and the usual way for river users to describe the water between them is a lock reach (whether that is in your dictionary or not). In terms specific to the river that defines the water level at which the a river joins the Thames. Users of the Thames tend to think of the river by locks and look for things accordingly. In Wiki this gives to opportunity to link all the items above a lock including trib's towns islands bridges etc. Rephrase by all means, but please do not take out useful links. OK I propose a compromise. I will add a new section to the article called "Confluence with the Thames" and will put the phrase "reach above Teddington Lock" in there. I think that the phrase unnecessarily confuses the general reader if it is included in the introduction. (The confluence is actually much nearer Molesey than Teddington.) 129.67.74.164 11:14, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
