Unfortunately, almost all of your changes have been reverted, by me and other editors. They were overly simplistic and almost everything they said was already in the article. I do appreciate your contribution though; just please make sure what you say isn't already in the articles. Thank you! --Golbez 04:03, Oct 26, 2004 (UTC)

Please do not let these comments discourage you. Reviewing your edits, it is clear that you are not sufficiently considering existing content and the structure of the article in just tacking on the additional information. Also, when some section of an article references a main article on the subtopic, that should be reviewed before performing edits. It would also be very helpful if you would join our community as a registered user. I doubt that editors would be so harsh with a named editor as they tend to be with an IP address. I have not been around here long, but have learned that the exercise of patience and politeness will make things a lot smoother (except for certain hot topics such as politics or right-wing media - these seem to always have watching editors ready to pounce). One reason IP addressed edits get a lot of action is that they are the principle source of vandalism. Often I will leave some NNPOV (non neutral point of view, also called POV) text in an article that I have written or substantially expanded, only because I tend to vent a bit as I write - it is amazing how long something like that can stay in an article. This will often ultimately be removed by an editor who goes on to make substantial improvement. This because the article was in an area of interest to the editor and was being read rather than watched for IP edits. (This does not apply to well established articles, particularly about sensitive subjects - they are usually to well watched by territorial types.) With a registered user there will be opportunities for community discussion, help from others, etc. that are not available to IP editors. Please consider this an invitation to join our community.
