• • • Please can someone unblock this IP, I'm an undergrad at University College, Durham, using my own computer in my room and I want to edit articles, but due to the actions of others on this system, I am unable to. Blocking this IP (and others on this network) is somewhat pointless, as whoever actually did the vandalism will now have a new one. Thanks
    • Further to above, I don't think that University of Durham Academic staff would actually care whether people are vandalising wikipedia - there's nothing that they can do about it and there is little incentive for them to intervene even if there was. Whilst I find Wikipedia an invaluable resource, it is not referenceable in academic writing, and of little interest to serious academics (other than for the purpose of studying the encyclopedia itself).
