[edit] The Wire
Thank you for your note on my talk page. You have not fully represented the context of the earlier message - that was with the regard to naming conventions for articles rather than the use of formal tone for plot summaries. I think that using Prop Joe or Joe to refer to the character is informal as these are abbreviations of his nickname. I think using Proposition Joe is acceptable but that using Stewart is preferable because it is shorter and easier for the casual reader. Length is a factor in writing plot summaries for wikipedia so a single word name is preferable to me. I have asked for input from the administrator whose post you replicated and hoep to open a wider discussion as wikipedia editing is a process of consensus building.--Opark 77 (talk) 16:47, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

Hi, the recent edit you made to Took (The Wire episode) has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. · AndonicO Hail! 13:54, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
