[edit] June 2008
I reverted your edits to Prestonwood Baptist Church because they were about a living person, they were not exactly complimentary, and they were not properly sourced. Unflattering material about living people must be reliably sourced.
On a related issue, please read through Talk:Prestonwood Baptist Church to see discussions about how detailed this article about the church should be with respect to a now-former employee's personal conduct.
If similar material is re-added without sourcing, it will be summarily removed. If it is added with a reliable source, other editors may or may not remove it. The best way to pre-empt such removal is to re-start the discussion about it on Talk:Prestonwood Baptist Church. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 03:42, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
- A man tried to have sex with what he thought was a 13-yr old girl. His actions, not my representation of them, was what was "not exactly complimentary".
- "They were not properly sourced."
- Wrong. Did you even bother to read the source? My material was taken from the original source, so I didn't feel it needed updating.
- Frankly, your attempting to propagandize what is embarrassing news for this church is showing in a completely unprofessional bias. If you are in the PR business for churches, go somewhere else.

- n May 2008, 52-yr old Joe Barron, a minister to married adults, resigned shortly after being arrested for solicitation of what he thought was a 13-yr old girl. Executive Pastor Jack Graham commented, "You need to know that we are appalled and we are disgraced by this terrible action." Solicitation of a minor is a second-degree felony.
- and the link is [1]. that link is from May 28, and does not contain the words Jack Graham said. It is possible you make a typo when inserting the link. It is also possible that the Dallas Morning News changed the content. Either way, it was a proper delete. A WP:BLP-compliant solution would have been to find another source for the same material and restore it with a corrected link. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 00:17, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for your attempt to fight the Prestonwood PR machine. I'm appalled that they think this cover up serves them well - perhaps it's just a few renegade employees and members, but they are relentless. I'm not sure, but at least a few of them may be the same person - user doublet89 has stated that he knows they are. It does appear that more than a couple of people including yourself have caught on to their attempt to make Wiki their PR page for Prestonwood and Jack Graham. I'd like to encourage you to get a wiki account. I've done so, and there doesn't seem to be any way that your privacy is compromised. Plus, it gives you more credibility to other wiki editors. Keep up the good fight, and please tell other people interested in keeping these wiki pages from becoming PR pages so we can have a little more help in patrolling these pages.Romans9:11 (talk) 03:19, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
