- The use of a username of your choice, provided that it is appropriate.
- The use of your own personal watchlist to which you can add articles that interest you.
- The ability to start new pages.
- The ability to rename pages.
- The ability to edit semi-protected pages.
- The ability to upload images.
- The ability to customize the appearance and behavior of the website.
- The eligibility to eventually become an administrator.
- Your IP address will no longer be visible to other users.
We hope that you choose to become a Wikipedian and create an account. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have on my talk page. By the way, make sure to sign your posts and comments with four tildes (~~~~), which will let others know who left it. Mike Christie 20:00, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Heegner
Hi; I saw your note on Kurt Heegner, and reverted the first addition you made, since you didn't give any source for your comments. I see you've added it again; can you provide a source for this assertion? I am aware of Heegner's history and I understand the comments, but for the Wikipedia article we need verifiable information, which means we need to find someone who has made these comments in a book or paper, and reference that.
I would like to move your comments to the article's talk page; please let me know if that is OK with you. Mike Christie 19:58, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
- I've gone ahead and moved your note to Talk:Kurt Heegner. Mike Christie 23:24, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
