I'm going to take a guess and say that you are about to post a message saying you've reverted all my edits and I should stop putting infoboxes in articles and then link me to a guideline at Wikipedia:WikiProject Classical music. Before you even waste your time doing this, please explain why I should even bother reading any guidelines at Wikipedia:WikiProject Classical music when that page does not own or even apply to pages on classical musicians given the project aims to only look after those articles missed out by other projects.
So it seems to me that your justification of no infoboxes is that a group of editors working at a project with no input from the outside and whose project doesn't even apply have claimed ownership of all articles on classical musicians and are claiming this is a consensus to not have infoboxes...
...when even a featured article which has been approved by a bigger set of editors proudly bears an infobox. I don't think that's general consensus.

Hi. Have you looked at the above guideline? Your post at the Simon Rattle talk page was not very tolerant of those who regularly edit there, even if they do not support infoboxes (as I do, by the way). I would have been glad for your support of an infobox in the Simon Rattle article, if only you had put it in a better and less deprecating way. I also wonder why you are pre-emptively defensive on this talk page? I have no intention of pointing you to any other guideline than the above regarding politeness - it costs nothing. Thanks.
