School IP address Attention:

This IP address, 128.220.251.100, is registered to Johns Hopkins University and may be shared by multiple users of an educational institution. If the institution uses proxy servers, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

For this reason a message intended for one person may be received by another. Similarly an innocent user may be blocked for another user's vandalism. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism; if so, please read our advice on this situation.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider a soft block with the template {{schoolblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

Note: In the event of persistent vandalism from this IP address, anonymous editing may be disabled for up to 1 year at a time. Abuse reports may also be forwarded to your school administration for investigation.
School staff who want to monitor vandalism from this IP address can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format.
Attention:

This IP address, 128.220.251.100, is registered to Johns Hopkins University and may be shared by multiple users. Comments left on this page may be received by other users of this IP and appear to be irrelevant. Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking. Attempts to vandalize using this address will be reported to Johns Hopkins University as network abuse.

If you are an unregistered user operating from this address, note that this need not necessarily be the IP address of your machine. In many cases, it turns out to be the IP address of a proxy server that communicates between your browser and the Wikimedia servers. Such proxies are shared among a huge number of users compared to the number of persons using your particular machine. If you are frustrated by irrelevant comments appearing here, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself.

Thanks for bringing this article to the attention of other editors. I'm nuking it now. -- Karada 01:10, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

On what basis are you disallowing this article. This produst has been under construction within Canberra, Australia for the past few years and I can testify to it's worthiness to appear on Wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.46.136.136 (talk) 18:40, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 7 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for vandalism. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. —DerHexer (Talk) 22:27, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 15:34, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WP:3RR

Please keep in mind the 3RR rule. If you make more than three reversions in a 24 hour period to an article you will be blocked. Also please keep in mind that making personal attacks and posting uncivil comments violates Wikipedia policy and etiquette. You can sign your comments by posting four tildes (~). Perspicacite 23:09, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Bias in article

This article is severely biased, and makes a childish attempt to paint Prof. Cohen as some sort of collaborator with African thugs. Please note the extraneous edit comments in the history of the page, where one editor notes that a particular section failed to capture that Cohen is an "evil SOB." What is this, myspace? I think the kiddies need to go home and leave the Wiki pages that aren't about pets and Britney Spears to the adults. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.220.251.100 (talk) 12:23, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] More Bias

Furthermore, the article cites as its source a single article by the political hack James P. Lucier, perhaps best known for butchering the writings of James Monroe in a pathetic editing job. Also, to make things worse, the person who sourced this cherry picks quotes and takes them out of context to further their purile vandalism. I have attempted to make some edits which will address this, but the bias makes a complete overhaul necessary.

Please refrain from referring to edits made in good faith as vandalism. When posting on article talkpages you can sign your comments with four tildes (~) at the end. All content needs to conform to a neutral point of view and needs sources. Perspicacite 13:30, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism

My edits are not vandalism, they are merely an attempt to clean up an article which has been heavily slanted by an author with a clear cut agenda and bias. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.220.251.100 (talk) 22:49, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

At no point in time have I or anyone else referred to your edits as vandalism. You, incorrectly, referred to my edits as vandalism. I again remind you to sign your comments with four tildes (~). The content you add needs to be sourced and needs to conform to a neutral point of view. When commenting, please refrain from making personal attacks and incivility. Perspicacite 23:07, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

I have moved these comments here as they violate WP:NOT, WP:NPA, and WP:CIVIL. You need to stop accusing other editors of vandalism. Perspicacite 02:44, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Why don't you get an account?

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.

Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 128.220.251.100). Logging in does not require any personal details. There are many other benefits for logging in to Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can type {{helpme}} on this page and an experienced Wikipedian will be around to answer any questions you may have.

Please note these points:

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, ask me on my Talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. ≈ jossi ≈ (talk) 02:51, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to L.
