Thanks for your contributions to my little subpage. I assume you found it via a link somewhere on Talk:0.999.../Arguments? If you look back through the archives of that page, you'll see why the effort is mostly futile - I doubt most of the objectors would accept it even if God came down and made it the 11th Commandment. Still, I find that if you keep a level head, the act of designing new proofs in an attempt to convert the unbelievers is a good form of mental exercise, and trying to follow some of the more sophisticated arguments in 0.999... teaches you some fairly deep mathematics.
