[edit] Inuse tag
When you see this box on a page: {{inuse}} Please refrain from editing until the other editor has finished his edits and removed the inuse tag. Your edits to the 3D article interfered with a lengthy series of edits I was making. I finished just a few minutes later. It would have been much easier if you had just waited. - Thanks for understanding. The tag is used when doing a large number of edits which are best done all at the same time without interference. Most edits such as the ones you did over your 2-hour period can be broken down into consecutive small edits, which normally aren't a problem. I rarely use the inuse tag because it can be an inconvenience to other users, but when I do I try to get them done quickly so I can remove the inuse tag. Sbowers3 (talk) 03:04, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
