[edit] Your Edits to Vaharai bombing
All Wikipedia articles and other encyclopedic content must be written from a neutral point of view, representing views fairly, proportionately and without bias. For more information see Wikipedia's policy on NPOV. Bakilas 04:48, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Bakilas 04:51, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
U have rv my edits saying they are pov. Please explain to me what qualificatoins u have to advise me on this. And clearly what part of my edits are POV. An encyclopedia is not aplace to convey your pov nly. you have been warned
I edited the posts because they were not of a neutral point of view concerning the topic, you also changed the number of resulting deaths without a legitimate source. Bakilas 05:07, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
U have not answered my question. Clearly detail what part of my edits are pov? And also the qualifications you have to advise me on this? If you cant i suggest you leave it as it was. If you have other motivations for your revert then obviously your rv is not NPOV as well.
NPOV elements of your changes:
- Changing facts without a proper source
- "Intentionally brutally murdered by the attack" - Can you prove this? If not then it is you POV
- "Many groups have accused sri lanka of intentional calculated genocide of tamils in Sri Lanka." - Without a source this is also just POV
- "Cold blooded brutal murder" - This is an opinion, it is what wikipedia's NPOV policy tries to avoid.
Qualifications? I am merely trying to keep Wikipedia an encyclopedia by making sure that personal opinions do not provide a bias in articles, as outlined in wikipedia's policy which I would advise you read through before posting further.
Just trying to help Bakilas 05:18, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
By reading through your last reply I see you have absolutely NO QUALIFICATIONS to tell me what is pov and whats not. And now your advising me of what I should read? Get real man...Also u say all my edits are not facts. But can you find any evidence to prove that these are not facts? If not I strongly suggest you withdraw your reverts promptly. You have been warned again and for the last time...
You asked why your edits were NPOV and thats why I suggested you read the wikipedia policy which spells out very clearly the policy concerning NPOV edits. Wikipedia requires that facts are accompanied by a source to prove them true, it is not upto people to prove facts false, but upto the poster to prove them true. I am merely stating the policies of wikipedia Bakilas 05:32, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
Man...I find your arrogance and stubborness towards my edits extremely offensive and surely its not inline wiki. Again u have not answered my questions and comeup with an argument which I have big trouble understanding. I advise you to express your ideas more clearly. And leave my edits as they were until this dispute is solved. If you do not withdraw your reverts within the next 10 minutes I will do so myself since u havent explained why it shoudn't be there.
If you have a problem with my edits then feel free to contact an admin about them, I have done all I can to try and solve this problem in a civil manner. I will continue to edit any cases of vandalism or NPOV which I see. Bakilas 05:39, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
Suit yourself kid...But you should not treat other people in such a deregotary way just because you think you are always correct.
Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you.
Don't be derogatory to other people; if you feel mistreated go to an admin rather than insulting them back. That is what policy says, and this is taken very seriously. Also, please don't put = signs around everything you say, it messes up the index. Also, sign your comments by typing this - ~~~~. -- THL 08:01, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
